We have made each wash bag by hand, using the most tactile leather that we have ever produced (it's taken us 2 years to perfect!). This extra special leather will soften and develop a beautiful patina as it's used, so it gets even better with time.
There is a tough brass zip to fasten it, and a strong, black, waterproof lining and an internal zip pocket to keep things more organised. So it's a top notch leather wash bag.
This leather wash bag is available in characterful tan, dark brown or black leather - all are excellent options and we have no favourites although the lighter the leather the more obvious the drawing (which is done by laser engraver).

Helpful Hints for perfect laser engraved drawings:
- give the child a black pen or felt tip to do the drawing so it's got thick black lines.
- this product is rectangle so draw a rectangle for them to draw in or give them a sheet of A4 so that their masterpiece will fit nicely on the wash bag.
- freestyle drawings are great but sometimes a little direction can really hit the spot. (eg ask them to write 'love you grandad' with a picture of themselves with Grandad - it will always be a winner)
- scan the image or take a photo with a smart phone (making sure it's well lit and clearly visible).The image should be free of shadows/shading with no creases.
