I quite often see leather and materials that I fall in love with, with no clue what I’m going to make with them. This beautiful shimmering gold leather was one of those! I just fell in love with the way it sparkles and captures the light. It sat on my leather shelf awaiting its destiny for a few months before I had an epiphany of what I wanted to make from it.
I was going to a wedding and needed a clutch bag small and light enough to carry my essentials but big enough to carry my phone, a small wallet, my car key, some lippy, my blusher and make-up brush. I rummaged in the studio and remembered this beautiful metallic leather I had bought, I grabbed my tools and started making. I love my new shimmering gold clutch bag and I hope you do too!
