Sturdy wire mesh holds the bird food in place and provides a secure foot hold for garden birds. The mesh gaps are also small enough to keep a variety of nuts and peanuts in place, and there are drainage holes at the base.

With a sturdy wire hanging cable, this feeder can be hung from a hook, crook or branch. The octopus shaped feeder is easy to refill - simply unscrew the butterfly bolt on the hanging wire and the mesh nut holder can then be pulled away revealing an opening at the top.
