The base fabric used to make Robin's Room pillows and cushions is 100% sustainable linen, woven in the UK. We use linen as it is a sustainable fabric which uses less water to produce than cotton.
This is a decorative item printed by hand. The inks used are non toxic, eco friendly and water based. The design is heat fixed so will not run or smudge.
Robin's Room sleep pillows are filled with a mixture of dried Yorkshire lavender and organic chamomile flowers along with some wadding to make them nice and soft.
This item is not suitable for washing as it contains dried herbs and should be spot cleaned when neccessary. The herbs are the very best quality and last for several years. They are contained in a small muslin pouch within the pillow and so can be replaced when this is eventually necessary.
The padding inside is 100% British wool fleece and so this item is not suitable for vegans. However this product can be made with an alternative filling suitable for vegans so If you would like this option please contact us. This does not affect the listed price as we are happy to accomodate!
All fillings conform to British standards BS5852 and BS1425 and European standard EN71-3 2013
