Artisan bakery revisiting a French classic - the Madeleine!
French native Marie Jacob, whose middle name is actually Magdeleine, has always been passionate about madeleines. After a 2nd child, she decided to set up a business through which she could share lovely childhood memories and her passion for exquisite/fine baking. She then met Halimatou Diallo, a passionate and skillful French patisserie chef whose eye for details has no match. Hali has extensive training in classic patisserie but also in their vegan version.
Together, they are bringing the madeleines to another level and want to share their love for fine baking with you!
The madeleines and fillings are made with only the best ingredients: Organic as much as possible and sourced with care. Everything is made from scratch and on demand in our kitchen in South London

Madeleine & Co are doing more than reviving a traditional cake: We are bringing joy and blissful moments through every mouthful. Guided by our love of great craftmanship, we bake, garnish, glaze, decorate and pack your madeleines by hand to ensure you can taste the passion and perfection in every single bite. Our batter and fillings are made in small batches using only natural ingredients and they are free from any artificial preservatives, flavourings or colourings.
Our Vanilla madeleine won a Great Taste Award in September 2021. Here is what the judges had to say about our madeleines:
