Recycled Woven Placemats Set

A set of two placemats, handwoven from recycled textile waste.

Portugal is world renowned for its textile industry, creating beautiful garments and linens of the highest quality. However, this process also creates an inevitable amount of waste. To create these Woven Placemats, balls of textile 'yarn' are sourced from various factories that are delighted for their waste to go to good use. The yarn is then twisted and woven into unique pieces for the home.
