Hand-thrown porcelain teapot with hand-knitted tea cosy by Ruth Cross.
Handmade by Linda Bloomfield in her west London studio, the teapot is thrown on the wheel in porcelain. A beautiful organic shape which pours well, with a transparent glaze on the inside and a tactile satin matt glaze on the outside. The shape is inspired by midcentury modern ceramics such as those by designer Eva Zeisel. Holds two or three cups.
The teacosy was designed by Ruth Cross to fit Linda Bloomfield's teapot and is hand-knitted in England from Scottish lambswool.
