Hello! I'm Laura, a paper artist and illustrator from Oxfordshire now based up in sunny Glasgow.

About 11 years ago when I was still in school I picked up a pair of scissors and started snipping some shapes, and I've never looked back. My pieces started at a reasonable size and gradually got smaller and smaller quite unintentionally, but I loved the process of making something so detailed on a novelty scale so I've been honing in this way of working since going freelance in 2018.

I make lots of different types of work in my practice, for literature, publicity, gifts and stationery; and I'm excited to bring my illustrations exclusively to Not on the High Street with my custom-made range.

Whether it's a portrait of a friend or loved one, or if you want a special way to remember a home, I can whip it up meticulously in paper form for you. Each individual piece is made entirely by hand, and no detail is too small.
