Our beautiful new range of illustrated prints have been inspired by our love of storybook illustrations from the 20th Century.
We wanted to create a series of nostalgic style illustrations which could be personalised with the name and a little anecdote which would be relevant to the recipient, thus giving them their very own storybook page.
In creating the set of illustrations, we wanted to design a keepsake for all occasions which would complement a baby nursery/child's bedroom.
This vintage styled design is evocative of times gone by but with a modern twist of your own text, this can be personalised to make a truly unique and special gift.
This illustration is a print of an original piece of artwork by a close friend Louise McAtee Higgins.
Louise studied art at the prestigious Glasgow School of Art and has exhibited her art extensively and sold her paintings throughout the world.
Having spent literally months poring over vintage children's storybooks we have come up with this series of prints which are exclusively available on Notonthehighstreet.com.
These original illustrations were then hand-drawn and watercoloured.
