For those that want to know how much time they have to search for a lost ball, keep it in your pocket with the tees etc so it's right there when needed
Hi, my name is Paul Maxwell and I am a club member at the West Lancashire Golf Club in Liverpool, during the summer months we can experience some of the fiercest rough around and being a mid handicap player I have often found myself deep in the long grass searching for the ball, getting stressed when it doesn't appear right away especially if you are having a good round in the club competition. It was in these circumstances that I thought it would be good to at least know precisely how long I had left to search and wouldn't it be great to have something really handy to do this, like a three minute countdown timer incorporated in a ball marker sized disk that you could carry in your pocket, so I built it, the G-Timer, get yours today!
No one wants to fiddle around with a phone, carry a bulky stopwatch or mess with a egg timer attached to their bag, we want to get on with the search!
So now I have a G-Timer, sat in my pocket with my pitch mark repairer and tees, it is the just the size and thickness of a poker chip ball marker, it can be easily located just by feel in the pocket and the large prominent start button can be pressed without even taking it out of the pocket. Two presses on the button and the countdown is set, whilst doing this I can keep looking for the ball, which I think is the greatest thing about the G-Timer.
