Each of our silver pens are hand made in Birmingham and this particular design is decorated using engine turning, a heritage technique of decorating silver that means it will not tarnish as the surface is textured. Engine turning is an art and skill that was developed in Victorian times and there are not many engine turning practitioners left.

It is handmade in sterling silver and finished with a ribbed detailing along the length of the pen. It is then assayed at the Birmingham Assay Office for authenticity.
