Bringing Unique Flavours to the Great British BBQ
Cut to the smoke was started from a longstanding love of outdoor cooking and sharing our flavours with others.
We love exploring different blends of spices and from that, we began developing dry rubs and seasonings to enhance the Great British BBQ experience.
Having used many off the shelf products, we were disappointed that many were heavy in low-cost ingredients including salt and raw cane sugar and when it came to chillies, we found that all they brought to the dry rubs was a little heat.
At Cut to the Smoke, we wanted to develop our products using different ingredients. We use coconut sugar, not only for its natural properties, but it brings such a deep molasses taste and aroma to the cook. It also does not burn or char as easy as normal sugar, and most importantly it reduces clumping in our products, removing the need to rely on preservatives.

We take pride in our product, this is why at Cut to the Smoke we wanted to reflect that in our packaging.
We tried and tested different sizes and shapes of foil pouches before settling on a fully recyclable pouch.
Once we decided on the packaging, we wanted the flexibility of creating unique packaging ourselves, rather than relying on the commercial printing process with longer turnaround times.
This is why we chose to create our own etched steel cliche, and from these reusable templates, we hand stamp our own packaging on-premise, so every bag is slightly unique in its own way.
The entire process allows us to ensure the product you purchase is of the intended quality we want you to enjoy.
