The clock used in the Spitfire was originally made by Smiths and was their MkIIIa military clock with a Swiss movement. It also features an engine plate design which gives the vital statistics for the aircraft such as the top speed, engine size and year produced. Each clock is hand made to order and runs on a single AA battery (not supplied).
