On each end is a hook for you to attach them to your dress or the ends can be left ready to sew in to your dress if you don't want them detachable.
Variations
The length you order is the beaded length, so measure from the front edge to back edge of your dress where the strap will be.
Order slightly too long rather than too short as they can attached further into your dress.
