A Pottery Matchstick Holder

An adorable ceramic matchstick holder for the home.

Handmade on the potter’s wheel, these beautifully glazed ceramic holders are filled with matching coloured-head safety matches and can be lit at the base of the holder.

The glazes are achieved by layering different colours and then using a flux glaze on the rims. This pulls out all the pigments in the glaze colours during the kiln firing process and achieves the beautiful drippy effect.

Each holder is thrown on the potter's wheel and is therefore completely unique.
