Bahari Blu is a bespoke, sustainable jewellery business. We create designs using up-cycled products such as pieces of ceramic or sea glass edged in silver.
Hello, I am Sophie, the creator behind Bahari Blu.
Bahari Blu came about as a combination of two life long passions - making jewellery, and beach combing! I have early memories of strolling the high tide line with my grandpa, looking for shells or 'treasures' as he would call them.
Today beach combing is still a favourite pass time, and now I create bespoke jewellery out of the items I find. I have collected all of the sea glass seen in my designs, and the organic silver shapes such as shells and leaves have been found and then cast in solid silver.
I try to be as sustainable as possible with my designs, using recycled silver and packaging. I am always looking for new ways to improve so please feel free to be in touch if you have suggestions!
Bahari Blu is a real passion project for me, it brings me a lot of joy and I thank you for being here at my shop! If you have any questions please be in touch.
All of the designs are designed by myself, and are hand crafted using traditional silversmithing techniques. I have taught myself over years of experimenting and trying new techniques, and I am always dreaming up new ideas! You will see that the Ocean is my main source of inspiration.
10% of Bahari Blu's profits are donated to Heal Rewilding, a rewilding charity helping to protect and restore Britain's wildlife.
