Ethically sourced from free-roaming flocks, all of our sheepskin is a sustainable by-product of the meat industry.
These soft, sumptuous lambskins are produced in New Zealand and are sourced from free roaming flock (all of our fleeces are a by-product of the meat industry). These high grade lambskin fleeces are carefully selected from local bred flocks for their shape and dense pile. Eco-tanned to a high standard they provide soft comfort and warmth for babies from birth. The lambskin is 40-50mm in length with a dense and luxurious pile.
Sheepskin is naturally thermostatic and the use of a liner is beneficial all year round. In the winter and cooler months, the sheepskin provides warmth as the fibres capture and retain heat created by the body. On warmer days, the wool allows a flow of air next to the body and absorbs moisture keeping your child feeling cool and comfortable.
