WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Tinctures, creams and herbal remedies. London is really just a glorious medicine cabinet growing at your feet. This walk lasts about three hours, during which time you will be sampling various leaves, flowers, shoots and berries as well as trying out the various tinctures and creams that were picked and prepared earlier.
Learn to identify plenty of common wild plants, as well as discussing numerous topics, from botany and nutrition to herbal medicine.
Lee Latham is a forager and medicinal herbalist. He spent four years studying herbal medicine at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. He teaches botany, plant identification and phytochemistry to herbal medical students, as well as running this ‘Wild Medicine’ walk.
If you would like to replace the traditional first aid kit, with a foraged version this walk is an excellent place to begin the journey.
