Food and Fairways. Learn multiple curing techniques followed by lunch and a round of golf (18 holes), near Bray, Berkshire. For Two.
WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
In the class you will learn the art and science of Charcuterie. There are several different courses to choose from, and on booking in just select the one you fancy. There’s duck, bacon, salami and chorizo. Learn how to blend, stuff, ferment, cut and cook. It is a fact that any foodie worth their salt needs to know how to make their own Charcuterie.
Bray only use British livestock, which have been kept and reared to the highest standard. They also work with heritage breeds for the most flavoursome and tenderest cuts. This is very much a hands-on experience and you will be taking home everything you have made during the lesson. This will also act as a reminder to prompt you to new culinary heights when you are back in your own kitchen.
There’s coffee and canopies to keep you going in the morning, followed by a restorative Charcuterie tasting lunch - and that’s not all….
The morning will set you up for the afternoon activity. A couple of minutes walk from the Bray factory, is Huntswood Golf Club, where you will be hosted for the afternoon. Depending on how energetic you are feeling you can choose from either 9 or 18 holes. Equipment can be hired from the club if you don’t want to cart your own clubs around.
