Reef Knots make luxury handmade printed silk ties that are both smart and expressive.

Our ties are inspired by the summertime and the ocean, and these themes run throughout our simple yet elegant designs. A Reef Knots tie is designed to reflect the good times you have outside of your suit, taking a little piece of it with you.

Our luxury silk ties are handmade from the finest silk twill using traditional screen-printing techniques. Due to the way they are made, no two Reef Knots ties are identical.

Whether you wear a tie everyday or once a year, we hope that by wearing Reef Knots, you'll be reminding people that you're less formal at heart. We live by our motto: Summertime - all the time.

The company was a long-term dream of owner, Patrick Dudley-Williams, who felt that ties had become overly corporate and were just sold as secondary products to shirts and suits. He started Reef Knots after his department at work was closed just two days before the birth of his twins. Despite having virtually no funds or experience, he decided to build a company celebrating the best parts of life, rather than rejoin the rat race.
