Katie Edwards Illustration

Katie’s screen printed illustrations reflect her enjoyment for the natural world, evoking thoughtfulness and humour. The original silkscreen prints are created from Katie’s most popular designs and developed as a limited print run. Each one being a unique, hand-crafted piece of art. Individually printed, signed and numbered by the artist.

Katie designs and creates her conceptual illustrations from her studio located at the foot of Lake Windermere in the Lake District, using traditional photographic and silkscreen printing techniques.

Achieving a first class honours in Graphic Arts and Design at Leeds Metropolitan University, Katie then relocated to London to start her career as a freelance illustrator, working on commissions for clients such as The Observer; The Telegraph; Economist and Psychology Magazines. Then whilst living in Canada for several years Katie worked on international projects with clients including Converse Shoes; National Australia Bank; Arla Dairy and Delta Airlines. Returning to where Katie grew up in the Lake District in 2014 to further develop her business and expand into the consumer market, now stocking her artwork in Galleries and Gift shops across the United Kingdom and exhibiting as far as Japan.
