Personalised Bus Blind Canvas

These custom bus blinds are printed on heavy weight superior canvas and then hand stretched on to a solid wooden frame made from European knotless pine.

The canvas is then hand finished by experienced framers who ensure each corner fold is perfectly smooth and tight.

Each canvas frame is milled with a curved profile; minimising contact with the face of the canvas; preventing unsightly impression marks and surface cracking.

Our canvases use finger jointed frames to create corner tension which helps to resist warping. For larger sizes, wooden ‘wedges’ are added to each corner; ensuring the canvas surface remains taut and allowing for easy re-stretching in future years.

Please note that this item is handmade and hand-finished. Great care is given to each stage and there may occasionally be variations in the blacks or other makers marks. The canvas is a pure, natural cotton canvas and there may be imperfections in the material, this is inevitable. Please try not to hang this canvas in direct sunlight as it will impact on the longevity of the deep colours. The background colour is deep matte black and the text colour is just off white to add to the authentic look and feel.

You'll get the chance to approve your canvas at the proofing stage.

Each print is individually designed by Rachel or Betsy and uploaded as a proof on your order page for your approval before printing.

The smaller size is approx 71 x 109 cm (I know - it's not really small at all!)

The larger size is approx 102 x 152 cm
