Brightly coloured Tibetan sheep's wool rug, with a contemporary wave pattern inspired by the Himalayan Mountain range. Hand woven in Nepal by Fairtrade weavers.
This striking rug is medium pile and hand tufted.
Bespoke and larger sizes made to order. Made to order rugs take 3 months to weave.
About the weavers: The Nepalese weavers hand dye the wool colours and pioneered the Fairtrade initiative in Nepal. They are also a charitable organisation who assist Nepalese women and children in the community.
You are buying the rug direct from the UK designer, Julia Brooks.
Care instructions: dry clean or handwash.
Variations
Bespoke and large sizes available. The maximum size the weavers are able to work to is 517 x 732cms (203.5 x 288.1 inches).
100 knots per inch (for a finer quality) is also possible.

Made from
100% Tibetan sheep wool. 60 knots per inch (93,000 knots per square metre).
All dyes are AZO free.
